Glebelands School is a community secondary school for students aged 11 to 16 and part of Learning Partners Academy Trust. We are a school built on two simple but powerful words: respect and achieve. We don't apologise for our high expectations — of our students, our staff, or ourselves — and we are continually strengthening and improving everything we do. If you share that drive for doing things properly and doing them well, you'll fit right in.
Be the Calm at the Centre.
Schools are wonderfully, gloriously busy. Students with big questions. Parents with urgent calls. Events that materialise from nowhere. And somewhere at the heart of it all — keeping everything ticking beautifully — is you.
We're looking for an Office & Administration Manager who gets a quiet thrill from a perfectly managed inbox, a welcoming reception and a system that just works — even on the most demanding days. You'll lead our teams across Reception, Student Services and Admissions/Attendance, support our Headteacher and SENDCo, oversee student records, coordinate communications and help orchestrate whole-school events. In short: the person who quietly makes everything possible.
You'll thrive here if you:
• Lead confidently, listen carefully and find satisfaction in a job well run
• Bring calm and structure without losing your warmth
• Are equally at home with a curious Year 9 or liaising with the governing board
What's in it for you?
We offer a friendly, professional team with a strong collaborative ethos, an excellent benefits package, Local Government Pension Scheme membership, a supportive senior leadership team, and training and development tailored to your needs — all within a rewarding role that makes a genuine difference to young people every day.
If you're the person who quietly makes everything possible, we'd really love to hear from you.
Interview date: to be confirmed - we will interview as applications are received so please submit an early application.
To apply: Please apply through Eteach or visit our website for Staff Vacancies.
