About Us

Academically the school is organised on a departmental basis. Each department has its own suite of specialist rooms with an attached office and resource area.

Tutorial System - There is a strong tutorial system based on year groups. Form tutors normally progress with their groups through the school supported by Heads of School. The tutorial system is responsible for the welfare and personal and social development of individual students and this is facilitated by a programme of Personal and Social Education. Increasingly, tutors are monitoring academic progress and supporting the curriculum through interviews and by target setting, to ensure students reach their potential in all areas of school life.
